The Boothby Graffoe Mish Mash
gfs-34bits of this and other bits of that
Boothby Graffoe is something of a legend in comedy circles. GFS first saw him longer ago than we care to remember in a room in Edinburgh. There was a certain amount of singing along to a guitar and a certain amount of joke telling but the combination of both made the gig soar.
That's what we have for you here. A selection of all sorts of Boothby loveliness.
Accompanying Boothby is multi instrumentalist - and all round splendid chap - Nick Pynn. He's here playing the violin, a dulcimer of his own design, wine glasses and a backwards tape machine thing.
Here's what we've got for you
- Boothby's Support Slot for Omid Djalili filmed at the Hammersmith Apollo
- Highlights of a knockout gig from Boothby and Nick at Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff from the Return of Boothby Graffoe UK tour
- Highlights of a live solo performance from Nick filmed in the Ropetackle Arts Centre
- Lots of bits and bobs from the Hobgoblin Cheltenham Comedy Festival 2011 and 2012
Rare among singer-songwriters in that he is not intensively twee and annoying
